Our business is founded upon our belief in equal rights for women. Majority of the women making our products needed an avenue for dignified labour, which we sought to provide. We are also actively involved in supporting the education of some of their children.
Food for all.
No one should go hungry. We do our part in ensuring that the people in our community and society are well-fed with frequent food distributions.
Blanket distributions.
Winter can get quite unbearable in Kolkata, especially for the poor and homeless. So, we organise blanket distributions for them to keep warm at night.
Our work isn't limited to India.
During the COVID-19 crisis, we organised multiple rice distributions overseas, such as in Nepal. Our rice and ration distributions have reached over 1,000 people.
